Spasticity Information

Editorial Policy

Spasticity Information publishes educational material as a public service. We aim to make complex medical evidence understandable while preserving uncertainty, limitations and the boundary between general information and personal medical advice.

Sources

We prioritize clinical guidelines, systematic reviews, consensus statements, major professional and public-health organizations, and peer-reviewed research. Important clinical claims should be traceable to numbered references or clearly identified sources. Commercial pages are not treated as independent evidence for product claims.

Writing and technology

Research, drafting and editing may be assisted by software, including artificial-intelligence tools. Technology does not replace source verification. We do not invent authors, clinicians, reviewers, credentials or patient experiences, and we do not display a medical-review claim unless a real, identifiable qualified reviewer has completed that review.

Updates and corrections

Pages may be updated when evidence, guidance or site structure changes. Material errors should be corrected promptly. Substantive pages display or will display an updated date. The absence of a contact form does not change our responsibility to review content systematically.

Independence

Editorial content should distinguish education from advertising, sponsorship or affiliate relationships. Any future financial relationship that may be relevant to a page will be disclosed clearly.
